Add live tracking

Many thanks for all your great work on wanderer @Flomp. An additional feature that would surely be useful to many people would be to be able to record a live track with FOSS applications like OwnTracks, Compass or Overland.

This would require adding an endpoint to the API and adding a toggle (like the “public” one) with the URL when creating a trail.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with these applications. What you request is an endpoint that allows an app to send a location update, and in turn incrementally builds a trail?

Yes, that's precisely it. The idea would be to be able to share the progress of a bike trip, for example. Here is the documentation for the HTTP endpoint with OwnTracks.

This would be an incredible feature and would likely add the ability to follow already created trails as well. When a user is ready to start their trek they could hit start and it would essentially direct them which way to go on the trail

This would be neat! A lot of the "hiking apps" have this as a feature where you can send a live share link to friends/family. Wonder if that would be a similar use case for this FR.

Live tracking would be a neat feature. It would be useful to maybe collect users' app preferences before implementing 'something'.
