Setting for Polyline "resolution"

I'm currently trying our Wanderer on an internal system with family and close friends to share walks/hikes we did, which works pretty well, but when I'm on the overview map (/map) the polyline has way too few waypoints.

It should be possible to change the resolution of the polyline, so I could raise it for my instance to get a better/detailed map.

This is one examples I have already imported but I also experience this with hikes in the mountains where most details are lost and it sometimes looks like a straight line..

When opening that trail it looks like this with every point rendered:

You can roughly imagine the route from the polyline on the overview map but it's way too basic (for my taste).
