MacOS: "The application "maintenancetool.app" can't be opened."

Issue overview

When I try and open the 'Maintenance Tool' I get the error: The application "maintenancetool.app" can't be opened. This is the case for both v1.8 and v1.9

Do you regularly use the maintenance tool on Mac? You should be able to just delete the OpenStudio Application directory if you need to uninstall it.

Hi @macumber , good question: I wasn't sure if just removing the 'Applications' folder would be sufficient to fully uninstall, or if I needed to use the Maintentance Tool? If that is all it takes, thats an easy solution?

Yes, the Mac application is self-contained so you should just be able to delete the directory for now.
