The timeline:

• Welcome & introductions (0815 - 0830)
• Information about the CX (~ - 0845)
• Short presentations by the students (~ - 0930)

What are the most important topics discussed?

For the C5, only the short presentation was important:

• Last semester, the goal of the CX group was to predict the price of cryptocurrencies, which was not very successful.
• This semester, the aim is to carry out “fraud detection” on cryptocurrencies.
• First, we need to define what fraud is and then find approaches that can predict this fraud.
• We need to see what kind of data we want to use or can even get/fit our use case.
  • Possible ideas for data would be “sentiment analysis” (e.g. tweets) and “price trends”.

What was decided?

• At the kick-off of gedb (September 26, 2024 08:00 - 09:00) we will discuss the definition of “fraud”.
