Can you find the insights data in the database? and which version of FeatBit do you use?

hi - if we installed the clickhouse/kafka direction originally, did that somehow block the direction of storing Events in MongoDB? Is there a setting that redirect events then?

Ah, I forget that you're using kafka and clickhouse (the Pro version, IS_PRO environment variable is set to true for services). In your case the ClickHouse consumes the insights data directly from the Kafka.

ah ok. so that means, since we arent using pro, but have pro-features installed, and are getting errors on the pro features, that's why we're not seeing insights. we need to turn off Is_Pro in whatever areas there are? Any particular services we need to do that in? I assume that's in the appsettings?

No, you misunderstood. I'm not saying that's a pro feature. I'm saying how insights messages are handled in the PRO version. I'm explaining how it works, and I hope you can find the answer yourself, because I don't know how you installed and configured it.

Kafka and clickhouse is for advanced analytics capabilities for large datasets and high-volume environments, especially when you have large amounts of insights data.

In pro version, kafka will be used as the message queue and insights data will be sent to it thourgh "featbit-endusers" and "featbit-insights" topics. So you need to check

1. Whether the insights data been sent to kafka (use a kafka client like kafka-ui to check the data)
2. Whether the Clickhouse consumes data in kafka normally
