About contributions

Hello there

Thanks for this project ! I'm very interested in contributing to, or at least, be able to tweak my own version of it.

But I didn't find any contributing/contribution guidelines, or documentation to help start playing with this ?

Is there a doc I missed ?

The current state of the project makes it hard to contribute IMO. I'm planning on doing a small but necessary refactoring:

• plugins/reverse proxy integrations will have a dedicated repositories:
  • sablierapp/sablier-traefik-plugin
  • sablierapp/sablier-proxywasm-plugin
  • sablierapp/sablier-caddy-plugin
  • etc.

After that, the sablierapp/sablier will only have the API and provider code.

I also want to create sdks so that it is easier to interact with the Sablier API from the plugins. Currently the logic is duplicated a lot.

After that, I will be able to create a nice contributing guide. You can still contribute though, please open an issue about the fix or feature you'd like to implement and I'll gladly help you through the steps.

Sorry for the delay and thank you very much for taking the time to write some doc about contributions.

I'm looking to use sablier with proxmox as a supported provider, i.e. use the proxmox API to start and stop LXC based on network events.

Thus, I believe I would need to do a PoC about it since it's a huge part. I need it for my personal projects so I wanted to build from sablier as a solid base.

Is this something you would be interested in for the future of sablier ? Or no, and I keep this apart ?

I think that'd be a great addition to the tool. We could add a proxmox provider.

I like to be able to test all the providers as close as possible to the production state using testcontainers. Do you think that proxmox can be tested that way ? That'd be very interesting to do
