paged (https://paged.media) is dual-licensed. You may use, modify, and distribute it under the terms of either:
- the Mozilla Public License, version 2.0 (MPL-2.0) — the open-source
option; the full text is in
LICENSE; or - the Paged Media Enterprise License (PMEL) — a commercial option available from And The Next GmbH.
SPDX-License-Identifier: MPL-2.0 OR LicenseRef-PMEL
Every engine source file carries the MPL notice (MPL Exhibit A) in its header; that notice defines the MPL's per-file scope.
The standard, unmodified MPL-2.0 governs — see LICENSE,
or obtain a copy at https://mozilla.org/MPL/2.0/. MPL's copyleft is
file-level: a larger work may combine these files with files under other
licenses, and only modifications to the MPL-covered files themselves must
be shared back. This is why a separate application — the paged editor
(paged-media/editor, itself AGPL-3.0 OR PMEL) or any third-party
integration — can consume the published @paged-media packages without its
own files inheriting MPL obligations.
A commercial license is available from And The Next GmbH for users who need terms MPL-2.0 does not provide — for example warranty, indemnification, liability cover, support SLAs, patent assurances, and the right to modify the engine's files without MPL-2.0's file-level reciprocity. Contact And The Next GmbH for terms.
Contributions are accepted under the project's Contributor License
Agreement, which lets And The Next GmbH distribute them under both the
MPL-2.0 and the Paged Media Enterprise License. See
