Do you need to use openclaw?

With the recent announcement of Anthropic charging for extra usage for third-party apps like OpenClaw, can Paperclip be used without OpenClaw directly? My thought is that I could have a server with isolated Claude containers running, perhaps something like Nanoclaw, and connect them into Paperclip.

Wanted to check what others thought on this.

Ah, OpenClaw is ONE of MULTIPLE runtimes. Nothing stops you from using another runtime or - cough - another model providers for most programmign. Not snippy here - I run most of my agents using MiniMax but the actual coding happens down in CLaude Code - literally claude code under contrpol of an agent running minimax.
