AppImage for Linux?

Hi Pawel, thanks for Sqlitestudio, it is great! Have you ever considered releasing it as an AppImage for Linux? It could also get into 'app-man' that way, which is a form of 'AppImage app store' (https://github.com/ivan-hc/AppMan) and it's handy GUI (https://github.com/Shikakiben/AM-GUI). Anyway, just a thought. Thanks again.

Well, how is it different from the portable package that is already distributed? I mean apart from 1-file (AppImage) vs 1-directory (after unzip)?

I'd say that there could be benefits in it being 1 file vs 1 directory. For example, when I first installed it I wasn't immediately sure that all I had to do was just run the binary, I thought I might have to install/build/compile something first because I saw all those directories. But maybe I'm just not that bright! ;)

I think AppImages are a bit of a standard now in the sense that some people a bit more familiar with the format (just chmod +x and run it) and might be comfortable with it.

Also, I recently discovered Appman and AM-GUI (as I linked in my other post), and it is a bit of a Linux "app store" of sorts, and I just thought it might be another place for people to discover your app if you list it (I've no affiliation).

I just think SQLiteStudio is excellent, so I thought I'd share my 2c. Anwyay, all the best!
