Can you please confirm thet you have tested the printer and it's working with this driver.

Yes I would confirm that the driver works. I installed the brlaser driver 2025-11-01 on my Lenovo Ideapad with Debian13 (Kernel 6.12.73) Before that, I tried the Brother linux-brprinter-installer-2.2.6-0 and could not print. OK my printer installation was then a little strange with KI help. After the hint to use brlaser, I installed printer-driver-brlaser and found then the <Brother A Owl-Maintain/brlaser Test Driver Duplex, v6.2.7; compatible with duplex monochrome laser printers >. Since I use this, printing works fine, also duplex and without any problems. I do not use many of the options in the printing menus. Those who I tried are working.

I would like to note that you are using Owl-Maintain/brlaser (my fork), if you have any issues please open a request there instead of here at pdewacht/brlaser (Upstream).
