How can I have or access toolbar for undo, redo, save, copy, cut, paste, etc. without first going to the menu bar? Don't we have any extension for this?

I'm new to Phoenix code editor but I can't see a menu bar to quickly access buttons like undo, redo, copy, cut, paste, save and others like in Notepad++.

Do we have any extension for this or not? I will be glad to receive a response.

Heyy @Adrian-Ngabo, you'll find all those options in the 'Edit' menu, along with dedicated keyboard shortcuts for each one. You can check them out.

Also, if you'd like a UI bar for quicker access to these options, let me know! I can make an extension for that—I'm sure a lot of our users would find it useful.

Hi @Adrian-Ngabo, I am currently working on it and should have it ready in the next 2-3 days. Apologies for the delay.

This is just a prototype. There will be many more buttons, and the styling will be significantly different. I'll try to make it as close to Notepad++ as possible.

Hey @Adrian-Ngabo, the extension is now live. To install it, head to the extension manager and search for 'Quick Actions' and install it. That should do!
Right now, it includes only the basic functionalities, but we can add more features as we progress. If you want, you can also contribute to the extension. https://github.com/devvaannsh/Quick-Actions

That is unexpected! If you're on a desktop app, please try closing it and then re-opening the application. Or can you please try it out in the phcode web app and see if it works there. https://phcode.dev
