choose how much context will be in the sentence field

Is there any way to implement the ability to set the number of sentences to be in the sentence field?
Often I feel that one sentence in context is not enough, and it would be great to be able to choose how many sentences will be taken to the card/sentence field.
Can I help to implement this feature?
