Security Analysis Listener

Describe the current behavior

No listener is available in the security analysis.

Describe the expected behavior

Listeners can be injected in the security analysis using the Java ServiceLoader mechanism (same as e.g. LfNetworkLoaderPostProcessor).

Proposed design:

• SecurityAnalysisListener interface, with methods:
  • onBasecaseSolved(LfNetwork)
  • onContingencySolved(LfNetwork, LfContingency lfContingency, Contingency contingency)
  • onOperatorStrategySolved(LfNetwork, LfContingency lfContingency, Contingency contingency, OperatorStrategy operatorStrategy)

the callbacks are called in AbstractSecurityAnalysis#runSimulations

Describe the motivation

Being able to inject externally custom detailled reports about the network state for contingency and operator strategy states.

We should solve this by a more generic way. Instead of creating an in memory model of security analysis result, we should use a handler approach like SecurityAnalysisResultHandler that would be notified each time a piece of result is available during calculation with:

• a default impl which create an object model like today
• this would allow custom serializer with additionnal data
• this would allow more efficient result storage not based on an in memory model (for instance write in a db) particularly suitable when a lot of monitored elements are configured.
