Offering help with Unit Tests

Hi everyone! I noticed a lot of Pull Requests, particularly in relation to new features and migrations.

I'd like to help improve the test coverage using CodeBeaver, an AI agent that I built (it's free for open source!). To demonstrate what's possible, I've created a PR:
CodeBeaverAI#1
that adds comprehensive tests to the last Pull Request that was opened here: Migrate from CircleCI to GitHub Actions.

What the PR demonstrates:

• Increases coverage for the prober/grpc_test.go file
• Adds 1 comprehensive test, which passes successfully
• Coverage for prober/grpc_test.go improved to 81.40%, with an increase of +2.33%
• No bugs detected in your changes—great job!
• CodeBeaver auto-maintained an existing test, adapting it given the new code

On top of that: If you check the PR, you will see that CodeBeaver does not only go for coverage - it also adds all the edge cases it can think of (we make it iterate 3 times on that alone).

Hi @erlapso, thanks for the offer.

I looked at the PR created by the bot, and it seems to integrate your service, and modify tests to remove parts like skipping ci for ipv6 tests, by removing the checks for os.Getenv("CI"). that line exists for reasons and the changes made by bot will result in failed CI tests.

At this moment, we feel that we don't have capacity to review such PRs. they would introduce more noise.

maybe in the future when we have capacity to review automated PRs, we would be open to re-evaluate this offer and integration with your service. however, we would be open to one off PRs that are contained in scope without integrating the service.
