Future Plans

Let's discuss future plans for Hovercraft!

I haven't done many presentations the last few years, for obvious reasons, so development has basically stopped, but I'm hoping to change that. Here's the things I want to happen with Hovercraft!:

• Improve the dev environment a bit, ie move to pytest, setup commit-hooks, etc. ✅
• Finishing the move to using async.
• Automatic update of the presentation with no manual reload.
• A remote terminal, so that you can have your notes on a tablet or a phone.
• Better audio/video support.

Let's discuss what other features we want. In particular, if somebody has a nice idea for how to convert it to PDF, that would be appreciated. That's a long-standing request which is quite tricky to implement.

is there a plan to adopt to impress.js v2.0.0?

1. Use the latest libraries and tools like impress.js
2. Add other libraries like MathJax to this repo because presenter may not have access to internet while presenting.

I don't use Hovercraft! any more, and I don't know if anyone is.

It is at this point to be viewed as abandonware.
