I managed to reproduce this paper relatively easily both locally and using the docker container provided. There a couple of minor typos in the README that I addressed in a PR: sje30/eglen2015#6

It was nice to see that I was able to reproduce the paper 2+ years after the code was written with more recent versions of the packages that the ones that were initially used.

Running the script within the container worked very easily.

Providing the paper as a vignette worked really well.

The code complexity and speed of execution made it a perfect project for a short reprohack exercise!
