Touch-Tab not working after sleep for a long time

Touch-Tab tends to stop working after Macbook sleeps for a few hours.

MacBook Pro 16 M1 Pro, Sequoia 15.5.

It still shows up in Activity Monitor as well as Menu bar, but when I do the 3-finger-gesture, the mouse cursor moves few pixels to the left or right and stops, and no CMD+Tab little window appears (IDK what's it called) and not switching windows.

The only way to resolve is to quit Touch-Tab in the Menu Bar, and relaunch it.

Do you use Middle-Click as well?

Yes, I am also using Middle-Click.

In terms of software that changes touchpad behavior, it’s only Touch-Tap and Middle-Click.

There was an issue with Middle-Click. May be it's still presented or may be you should upgrade to the lates version. artginzburg/MiddleClick#111

I’ll give it a try.

For a little bit more context, I just got this MacBook 2 days ago. Everything I’ve installed so far is the latest version. Not sure reinstalling will fix it.

And as for the “long time”, it’s not like a few days mentioned in the issue above, but like around 5-8 hours. Leaving it sleep overnight will cause this issue every time.

Unfortunately, after a day of not using Middle-Click, I still get the problem. Today I woke the MacBook up with Touch-Tab not working. Same symptoms as above.

Please let me know what information do you need to help you figuring out the issue.
