why the range_max is 0.0 from the topic /scan of rplidar a1

when I use this rostopic echo /scan, just get like below, why the range_max is 0.0?

I had the same issue with the Slamtec repo(https://github.com/Slamtec/rplidar_ros) and it was solved with this repo.

Similar issues on Slamtec's repo : Slamtec/rplidar_ros#67 and Slamtec/rplidar_ros#71
Slamtec/rplidar_ros#71 seems to have a fix
