All tokens not considered in calculations?

I've recently started using ccusage as I was really excited to better understand my usage and rough order of magnitude costs for running API. However, when comparing against what Claude has charged (shown on the console), ccusage seems to be underestimating usage by about 20%. Are there certain files the tool does not read or is unable to read causing the discrepancy?
