Suggestion: guidance on future Affinity updates

For future Affinity updates, should we reuse the installer and Download the Affinity installer manually? Or does the installer do that? I'm assuming the Affinity updater won't work?

Perhaps this is already described under: Affinity Updater - Update existing installations without full reinstallation: But I thought I'd check.

Affinity for Linux has to be the Major Game Changer for Designers with Linux. I have been waiting 15 years for this. Always Adobe Creative Suite, totally Not working good. GIMP and Inkscape are good .,, but not good enough. Hopefully, this will get better over time.
