add a progress-vertical class

Adding a normal <progress/> element and rotating 90deg does not work.

I currently make my own utility class

.progress-vertical {
  writing-mode: vertical-lr;
  direction: rtl;
}

This means users will need to add a specified height and width

Thank you for the suggestion but this would not be for input but rather data display as I'm currently using it to show a live audio volume level between 0-100%
