automatically cleanup accumulated csrf cookies

I am using https://github.com/thomseddon/traefik-forward-auth traefik-auth-forwarder. from few days, I am noticing that csrf cookies are getting accumulated and not getting deleted. as a result, it is showing service unavailable/401 message in browser post sso authentication. if I restart pod, it works again. this tfa is not maintained any more and I am looking for alternative.

So I wanted to check if this tool support cleanup of accumulated csrf cookies ?

this middleware currently doesn't use any CSRF cookies and also does not clean them up.
