Stripes in .cbf image files

hello,

i'm trying this as kind of last resolve as i couldn't find a way to fix this issue i'm having as i'm new to this.

when I want to open the .cbf files for subsequent processing, the images appear with stripes in the pyFAI-calib2 preview window:

perhaps some additional information, when trying to view it with fabio_viewer, I get the following error message:
"Automatic format recognition procedure failed or perhaps you are trying to open a binary data block...

Switch to manual procedure."

This basically means the image is not properly read by the fabio library. There is not much that can be done at the pyFAI level.
Could you please open an issue in fabio and provide a test image so that one can ensure the image is properly read. If you have the same image in a tiff or another format, it would definitely help.

yes, of course!

sadly i only have the raw data as .cbf images. which other format would you recommend if i would have to change the file format (ideally without any data loss)?

The image turned out to be corrupted with "\r\n" characters.
