Hi All!
We successfully migrated to HOMER 11 more than a week ago.
At the moment, we are sending part of our SIP traces to the new HOMER instance. The system is currently receiving around 700 packets per second, and the server is performing very well — CPU usage remains minimal.
One of the most noticeable improvements compared to HOMER 7 is disk usage. HOMER 11 appears to be much more efficient in terms of storage consumption.
After 12 days of operation, our data volume looks like this:
With the old HOMER 7 setup, under a similar load, a 2 TB disk was usually enough for only about 2–3 weeks of retention.
So far, HOMER 11 looks very stable and significantly more efficient for our workload.
Great work by the HOMER team!
