App update mechanism #36
Description
Need to implement update system for an app.
Ideas:
- Obtanium https://www.openapk.net/obtainium/dev.imranr.obtainium/
- Push notifications? (seems overly complex for now with necessity to get permissions)
- Check release github page on launch?

Seems pretty good - show toast when newer tag is available. In settings tab show version and beta-subscribtion
The remaining question - how to manage both f-droid and github updates.
