screenshot hotkeys not working, overlay shows "error"

i have a problem with screenshot hotkeys in the overlay

screenshots dont work at all

when i try, i see only the word "error" in the top right corner, no details

i tried changing hotkeys (tab, capslock, letters) but nothing works

i have two monitors, so i tried disabling the second one — didnt help

i tried two different builds: github version and windows installer — same issue

i also regenerated api keys — still the same problem

not sure what else to check, any ideas what could cause this?
