Correct installation

Hey there!

I noticed the installation instructions have "About Me" and "Custom Instructions" parts: Standard Edition.

As per instructions:

• "About Me" should be set in the "first textbox"
• "Custom Instructions" should be set in the "second textbox".

However, in my Settings:

• the first textbox has a label "What traits should ChatGPT have?", which sounds more like "Custom Instructions" than "About Me"
• the second textbox has a label "Anything else ChatGPT should know about you?", which sounds more like "About Me" than "Custom Instructions"

So what is the appropriate way to set it up?

Like in the manual, like this:

1. What traits should ChatGPT have? - About Me
2. Anything else ChatGPT should know about you? - Custom Instructions

Or with semantic meaning matches instead, like this:

1. What traits should ChatGPT have? - Custom Instructions
2. Anything else ChatGPT should know about you? - About Me

That was like 2 years ago, which is ages in 'ai time' so not surprising the labels are different.

Besides, I don't really have a ton of luck with ChatGPT following my custom instructions in general, best to try both ways and see if all the features work. The only sure fire way I had seen was to use the Dev's GPT's he created, but freaking OpenAI took down the Chat (standard) one. Developer still works though.

tbh, if you want to have your own setup, I highly recommend putting the system prompt into Claude since it follows the instructions 100% of the time.
