Add contributing guidelines

I'm thinking about adding contributing guidelines. Nothing restrictive, just want to have all AI (coding assistants) contributions tagged. Something like "Contributions created with involvement of AI, AI-based coding assistants are generally permitted but must be clearly tagged in the commit message. It is the contributor's responsibility to fully understand the change, its effects and consequences and that the code patterns used are not restricted through software patents."

Sounds good, it would be nice if we could do something for the entire project so we don't need to have separate guidelines for udisks, libblockdev, blivet etc.

I think it is an excellent idea.

Definitely a good idea. The common concern is licensing as we never know where the AI took the code from, but it's not on us to resolve this, we can just follow the common approach to this issue and ignore it.
