Lexical issues on iOS

• Bug: Character Replacement Issue After iOS Autosuggestion facebook/lexical#7565
• Bug: Autocorrect sometimes not working in iOS Safari facebook/lexical#7614
• inserting weird quotations (” instead of ", ’ instead of ')

These bugs have been quite annoying on iOS.

Any way these can be addressed within Sveltia, or have to wait for upstream fix? It's been several months since both these issues were created, and seems like there's been no discussion around it.

It’s probably hard to work around these issues in our side.

Curly quotes are not related to Lexical. You can disable the smart punctuation behaviour in the iOS keyboard settings. Personally I always use curly quotes when writing.

And makes sense. Hope Lexical fixes the issues soon.
