My Bugfix PR for the authenticator was closed, citing a GitHub change making the entire authenticator obsolete. Does that mean the GitLab backend is now unsupported? |

Yes. You just don’t need the authenticator as I said in https://github.com/sveltia/sveltia-cms-auth/pull/18#issuecomment-3823818570 |
