Feature request: add/show external linked images in assets

Hello, first of all thank you for all your work and efforts.
I was working with many external images and thought how nice it would be to see all the external linked images in one place e.g. in the assets menu.

Do these images come from any external storage? In that case, yes, we have plan to let users manage these images in the asset library.

Images from other sources can also be displayed in the asset library if needed, though there is no way to manage these images.

I was thinking more about other sources. It would be nice to see them in assets and maybe to have infos like source URL and where they are used in the cms.

Makes sense. Either way, the 1.0 release is approaching, so we’ll probably implement this in 1.x.
