How do I initialize a repo that hasn't been pushed to launchpad and only resides on my computer? #67

When I clone a remote repo from launchpad everything works. For example git bzr clone lp:user/project/BRANCHNAME creates following directory structure.

REPO
--.git
---------bzr
------------repo, .bzr
---------------branch-name1
-------------------------.bzr

But how to do the same without clonning as BRANCHNAME does not (yet) exists on launchpad?

For example I want to push to lp:~user/project/BRANCHNAME, where user and project exists but BRANCHNAME does NOT exist on launchpad.

I tried with git init & git bzr init; but it did not work.
