add a fabform.io backend to contact form

how do i add a backend to the contact form to use https://fabform.io

Add a file in your own repository at layouts/_shortcodes/contactform.html (NOT in the theme. by putting it in your own repo root it will override any file that exists in the theme).

Put your form into that file.

Add the shortcode via {{< contactform >}} in the content file for the page where you want to show the comment form.

You could use the code in form-contact.html to get the layout and style classes.
