Problem connecting to MODEM via UC1 using Kermit

When I try to connect to the Internet via the TTY in the web interface, using kermit, after setting the port for UC1 and typing "connect", when I try to enter AT commands I get "ERROR" after each character I type. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? The WiFi is working fine, in STA mode, connected to my Access Point, which is why I am able to connect to the web interface of the IMSAI8080esp.

I ran into this as well, the AT commands have to be CAPITALIZED. try it that way :)
