Define & insofar possible implement (persistent) account management

As a user, I want to be able to claim (and maintain, and be able to select) a certain identity, in order to keep posting with my unique name, and to prevent others from pretending they are me i.e. to prevent 'identity theft'.

Extend with 0x/wallet functionality?
