Adding torrent from clipboard from a some sites causes complete lock up

The application locks up completely when adding torrents from some sites. An example is magnets on animetosho.org. I use taskill /im transgui.exe /f, and then try to open it again. Sometimes I have to force close a second time, and then restart again for it to function properly.

It happens on ctrl-insert as well... When I paused the debugger it locks on:

I am unfamiliar with Pascal but I'll try to track it down further..

The stack looks like its the string processing (splitting the magnet URI).. I wasn't able to get much information using the Lazarus debugger, and IDA pro didn't want to load it for some reason. I used x64dbg. I'll post image where on bottom right you can see the stack has various variables relating to string manipulations for processing the magnet URI.
