Description

I am proposing the creation of a Timeline component that gives the developers the ability to show current status or a history of items. This is especially great for mobile, but is useful on larger screens as well.

Other UI frameworks have them and I feel we should also.

Use Case

Currently, we do not have a timeline component like MUI or other UI frameworks have:

• React MUI
• MudBlazor - Material Blazor RCL
• Flowbite - Tailwind

We have Cards and Stack already so it is possible to utilize those in the creation of the component.

This has been a discussion topic within the design governance committee actually, so this is good timing. I don't believe any design work has been completed for it quite yet, but it is certainly on the radar. I'll bring it up at our next board meeting.

In the meantime if you're willing to prototype the component and basic features, we can work with the UX folks in tandem to nail down the design. Thanks!
