When users go to schedule publish a page and their not in a similar timezone as the server e.g. for 2026-05-01 15:00 BST. After selecting it shows 2026-05-01 14:00 both in the selected time and when viewing information about the node and the publish date.
Our users of the backoffice are not technical, and do not appreciate the complexities that timezones gives us and this kind of approach causes a lot of confusion and mistakes.
Given the user would generally have their machine & browser set to the timezone they're working in why not show the datetime converted to their local timezone. So although it's stored as 2026-05-01 14:00 if am using a machine set to BST it shows in my local time which would be 2026-05-01 15:00
