Addressing Samsung's new PAT policy and Home Assistant Core updates #139

Hello,

I'm an active user of the SmartThings integration and I'm facing issues due to recent changes. I'm hoping to get some information or support from the community regarding a potential solution.

Samsung has changed its Personal Access Token (PAT) policy, and newly created tokens now have an expiration of just 24 hours. This makes it impossible to rely on PATs for long-term integrations with Home Assistant.

The official Home Assistant integration is not affected by this, as it uses the OAuth2 flow with refresh tokens. However, the official integration is very limited and lacks many device-specific functionalities, such as:

Turning off the display on a Samsung air conditioner.

Opening specific apps on a Samsung Smart TV.

Since the official integration is insufficient for advanced control, many of us depend on custom components or direct API calls. But with the new token policy, this approach is no longer feasible.

Could you please provide an update on whether a solution is being developed to address this? I'm specifically looking for a way to use the full capabilities of my devices, perhaps by leveraging the OAuth2 authentication flow to get and refresh tokens automatically, so that custom commands can be sent without the token expiring every day.

Thank you for your hard work and for any guidance you can provide on this issue.
