Unable to pnpm install

Getting the below error while trying to pnp install:

To help debug this, could you share a bit more detail?

• The full error message as text (not just a screenshot)
• Your node -v and pnpm -v
• Your OS (and version)
• The exact commands you ran, in order (e.g. pnpm install from a fresh clone, or anything before that)
• Whether you’ve tried removing node_modules and pnpm-lock.yaml and retrying

Right now it’s hard to tell if this is a project bug, a pnpm issue, or an environment problem without that info. Once you share those details, it’ll be much easier to reproduce and see if there’s something we can fix here.

1. Check Node.js version
2. Clear pnpm cache
3. Use a reliable registry

It’s possible your default registry is causing issues. You can switch to the official npm registry:
pnpm config set registry https://registry.npmjs.org/
Then try:
pnpm install

4. Network issues / proxies

ERR_INVALID_THIS sometimes happens if a proxy or firewall interferes.

If you’re behind a proxy, set it in pnpm:

pnpm config set proxy http://your-proxy:port
pnpm config set https-proxy http://your-proxy:port

If on a slow network, you can increase fetch retries:

pnpm set fetch-retries 5
pnpm set fetch-retry-factor 2
pnpm set fetch-retry-mintimeout 10000
pnpm set fetch-retry-maxtimeout 60000

5. Update pnpm

Make sure you’re using the latest pnpm version:

pnpm add -g pnpm

After doing steps 1–5, run:

pnpm install

It should now work without the ERR_INVALID_THIS errors.
