Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

We are committed to providing a welcoming and inspiring community for all. We pledge that everyone involved in the Blueprints community—including all contributors, maintainers, and users—will be treated with respect and dignity.

We are committed to creating an environment in which diverse people feel safe, included, and encouraged to participate in our projects and contribute their best selves.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:

  • Being respectful: Use welcoming and inclusive language. Be kind and respectful to others.
  • Being helpful: Be supportive of other members. Share your knowledge and help others learn.
  • Being collaborative: Work together in good faith. Assume good intentions and address concerns constructively.
  • Being constructive: Provide thoughtful, actionable feedback. Focus on the work, not the person.
  • Being empathetic: Show understanding for different perspectives and experiences. Listen actively.

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment: Intimidating, attacking, or demeaning language or conduct.
  • Discrimination: Treating someone unfairly based on their protected characteristics.
  • Trolling: Deliberately posting inflammatory messages to provoke reactions.
  • Personal attacks: Insulting, name-calling, or attacking someone's character.
  • Publishing private information: Sharing someone's private information without consent.
  • Unwelcome sexual advances: Any form of sexual harassment or inappropriate behavior.
  • Spam: Repeatedly posting unsolicited promotional content.

Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project maintainer at johnandmeimenerick@gmail.com.

All complaints will be reviewed and investigated. We are committed to maintaining confidentiality regarding the reporter of an incident.

Enforcement Actions

The following enforcement actions may be taken:

  1. Warning: A private message explaining the violation and expected behavior.
  2. Temporary Suspension: Removal from project spaces for a specified period.
  3. Permanent Removal: Permanent ban from project spaces and activities.

Enforcement decisions will be made at the discretion of the project maintainers, based on the severity and pattern of violations.

Appeal Process

If you believe a moderation decision was unfair, you may appeal by responding to the enforcement notification within 7 days. The maintainers will review your appeal and respond accordingly.
