I Can't Get Barometer Reading On Hourly Forecast

Barometric Pressure is essential for for my app, and I can't seem to get the Barometer readings in Hourly forecast... and they usually empty strings coming back from the raw data.

Can you fix this, or is there something I need to do?

In general, I don't believe NWS WFOs generate barometric pressure forecasts. (The 'pressure' field in the gridpoint query for my point is empty as well.)

You're more likely to get pressure forecasts from weather forecast model output (GFS, etc.).

You can get altimeter and sea level pressure observations from the /observations endpoint. SLP observations require ASOS level observation equipment and may only be available at regional-size or larger airports.

Thanks for the quick response. I am not well versed in weather forecasting. I've created a hunting app, and a lot of the deer activity depends on barometric pressure. They can sense when fronts are coming in, I guess.

Anyway, I have no idea what to call for. I currently call for the hourly forecast, then go back for the raw data, but as we agree, it is usually empty for pressure. What would you suggest for the second call instead of raw? I have no idea what

weather forecast model output (GFS, etc.)
