Getting trapped on Windows login screen when opening an app

Whenever I open an app with WinApps (like MS Word), I get trapped on a fullscreen frozen Windows login screen. When I try to cycle through my open windows, I can see them just fine, and I can see the Word app too. But, when I stop cycling, the desktop returns to the frozen login screen. I am on CachyOS. Help would be greatly appreciated.
