    If another plugin decorates in a way to cause a Content to load its Contentable during creation/update (e.g. in a callback), this test will fail because the Content doesn't reload its Contentable.

  • Respect Featured Products Sorting In Storefront

    When featured products for a blog entry are sorted in the admin, these sorting changes were not reflected on the storefront because of the use of .any_in rather than .find_ordered when querying for products from the database. Use .find_ordered so that the order of Content::BlogEntry#product_ids is preserved in the query to MongoDB, and the products show up in the correct order when published to the storefront.

  • Fix Comments Timeline Link Text

    The link text for a new comment in the admin activity timeline caused an error when Workarea attempted to render the partial, because #name is not a method on Content::BlogEntry. This error has now been fixed by updating the text to read from entry.audited.entry.name rather than entry.audited.name.

    The core Workarea platform has a means of automating SEO-related metadata (like the browser title and meta description) on content pages and product detail pages. This was, however, never implemented in the blog plugin even though the help bubbles advertise it do so. Since Content::Blog models are a separate kind of record which behaves much like a Content::Page, the blog needs to decorate GenerateContentMetadata to account for blog models in addition to the other contentable records in the system.

    When sharing blog entries on LinkedIn, Facebook, or Instagram (basically anything that pays attention to open graph tags), images were not appearing because the og:image meta tag was never specified. Set this to the blog entry's thumbnail image URL so images will appear properly on social media and other communities.
