i need help installing the instructions suck and are not clear

umm the instructions arent clear can some one help me install this mod pls ive been experenceing alot of crashes and all the colors are distorted and my escape menu dont pop up

in the bottom image can you do alt + x if so can you also do F5? (if doing alt + x opens a menu
and pressing f5 also opens a menu tell me)

btw what gpu and cpu do you have (and also you have to run the game via bat cuz the main menu images look like you didn't run it with the bat)

rtx4080 16gb ryzon 9 5900x yea the instructions whernt clear on how to install if you could help me install it correctly that would be nice

i mean all you have to do is place all the files next to the portal2.exe
then download the basemod and place them also next to the portal2.exe

then run it via the bat...

so when you run it via the bat
that main menu and the nothing working glitch happens?
