Extracting boardComments not working for me

Hi,

I am sorry to bother you but it seems that I cant extract the boardComments when I create a panel of my PCB. Tried it with KiCad 7.0.9 and KiCad 8.
This is the part of my .json:

When I use all die other board textfield extraction commands it works perfectly just noch with the comments.

Am I doing something wrong here?

The boardCommentN variable extracts the CommentN section from the title block and use it in the text.

Without sharing your source files, I am afraid I can't help to diagnose further.

Her is a little example KiCad project. If I use {boardCommentN} as the text it won't put it onto the specified layer in the panelized file but if I put in e.g. {date} or {boardRevision} it works. You can also find the .json that I use and a bash file which executes the panelization in the project. I tried this in KiCad 7 as well as I mentioned previously.
But it is possible that ther is just some kind of mistake on my side and I don't see it :D.
