Two new GeoAlgeria datasets shipped together in v1.4.0.
@geoalgeria/mosquees — new (v1.0.0)
20,759 mosques across all 69 wilayas, every one geocoded. A Wikidata (CC0) + OpenStreetMap (ODbL) composite that reaches near-complete national coverage against the ~18,449 counted by the Ministère des Affaires Religieuses. Provenance on every record (
source: wikidata / wikidata+osm / osm, withwikidataQID andosm_idcross-links): 13,200 Wikidata-only, 5,897 matched in both, 1,662 OpenStreetMap-only. 15,138 Arabic names and 7,874 French names, denomination where known, and commune / wilaya linkage on every point.npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/@geoalgeria/mosquees
@geoalgeria/djezzy — new (v1.0.0)
128 Djezzy (Optimum Telecom Algérie) boutiques across 63 wilayas, from the Djezzy store locator (djezzy.dz/nos-boutiques). Each boutique carries its store code, category, address, opening hours, opening code, GPS coordinates and commune / wilaya linkage. Pair it with
@geoalgeria/mobilisto compare operator retail footprints.npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/@geoalgeria/djezzy
Both ship JSON, CSV, GeoJSON and TypeScript types, and every record joins the rest of GeoAlgeria on one
wilaya_code. Commune and wilaya linkage is a nearest-centroid join (wilaya exact, commune best-effort). The mosque dataset is a community composite, not an official registry — verify against the source for authoritative, real-time information.Release: https://github.com/yasserstudio/geoalgeria/releases/tag/v1.4.0
