I would love to see this feature. Is there anything planned regarding this? Additionally (but not related to this issue), I am still looking for the feature that allows you to restore a file to prior edits without needing to rely on git, see https://stackoverflow.com/a/72593539 cc: @SomeoneToIgnore |

Add the ability to view diffs side-by-side, in addition to line-by-line.
For example, the GitHub diff view allows a user to view changes in a "Unified" view or a "Split" view.
I tend to view changes side-by-side by default. Personally, this allows me to visually grep the changes more efficiently - likely because I can view the code as it now is while being able to reference the previous commit. Git blame-ish, in a way.
