Keyboard shortcut to focus editor from any panel

Unless I'm missing something, there isn't a way to focus the editor with a single shortcut regardless of which panel is currently active. Instead, I have to use the toggle {currentlyActivePanel} shortcut for the active panel to give focus to the editor. I'd like to not have to worry about remembering these and just mash some keys to be guaranteed of getting to the editor.

i use

      "cmd-e": "workspace::ActivateNextPane",

if i am focused on the git view or the outline view this brings me back to the editor. and if i am in my editor it takes me to the next pane split. I think this might be the command you are looking for?

ah nice, thank you – that works for everything apart from the terminal seemingly (which needs workspace::ActivatePaneUp – perhaps I can configure the same shortcut specifically to do that in the terminal)?

yes, exactly!

sorry, i also noticed that and used the same solution.

note: sometimes when i am reading really long terminal output i will drag the terminal view into the "Pane" area and it opens the terminal as another split.
and this breaks the keyboard shortcut, because the terminal is no longer 'below' the other panes.

maybe one could create a specific keybinding for this situation but i have not figured it out.
honestly the keybinding "context" is... confusing.

there is now editor::ToggleFocus
which fixes the above problem
