Allow wrapping selection with * or _

When edition markdown it's super comfortable to select some text and type * or _ to wrap it with these symbols for italic or bold. Similarly as it works with " for example or (.

Currently these symbols replace the selected text which is unexpected and not very convenient.

I think * and _ should be added to this wrapping behavior or maybe allow configuring the list of symbols for this behavior.

Agreed, except Zed does not do this for me even with quotes and brackets - see #37907.
